Day 18: Random Act of Kindness
Here are a few ideas to spark your action:
Pay for someone’s coffee or meal.
Send an encouraging message to someone who needs a boost.
Compliment a stranger.
Leave a positive note on a coworker’s desk.
Donate clothes, books, or food.
Help someone carry groceries or hold the door.
Kindness releases feel-good hormones, reduces stress, and strengthens social bonds. It’s good for the receiver and the giver. In fact, studies show that acts of kindness can even improve your physical health by lowering blood pressure and increasing life satisfaction.
Today, be the reason someone smiles. And keep it anonymous if you want—it makes it even more magical.
No act is too small. Kindness is contagious. Spread it like wildflowers.
