If Not God… Then Who?

There’s a growing number of people today who say they don’t believe in God, don’t believe in Jesus, and certainly don’t believe the Bible. Some say it’s outdated. Others say it’s just a collection of stories written by men. And many simply say they prefer to believe in “science,” “energy,” or “the universe.”

But let’s pause for a moment and ask a simple question.

If not Him… then who?

Because whether someone believes or not, the world around us is moving in ways that are hard to ignore.

The World Is Starting to Look Familiar

If you open the book of Book of Revelation, you’ll find descriptions that many people once dismissed as symbolic or impossible.

Yet look around today.

Wars and rumors of wars.

Economic instability.

Increasing division among nations.

Technology capable of monitoring and controlling commerce.

Moral confusion becoming normalized.

For centuries, people read Revelation and wondered how some of these events could even be possible.

Today, many of them don’t seem so far-fetched.

The Bible describes a time when systems would arise that could influence buying and selling. A time when truth would be questioned and deception would increase. A time when the world would become more chaotic, yet more controlled at the same time.

Sound familiar?

Now, this isn’t about fear.

It’s about awareness.

The Question Many Avoid

People who reject faith often say:

  • “There’s no proof.”
  • “Religion was created to control people.”
  • “I believe in something, just not God.”

But that raises an important question.

If you reject God, you still have to explain the alternative.

If not God… then who designed the order of the universe?

If not God… then who created consciousness?

If not God… then who established the moral sense inside human beings that tells us right from wrong?

Because here’s the thing many people overlook.

Even those who reject God still talk about truth, justice, and purpose.

But those concepts don’t come from randomness.

Randomness doesn’t produce meaning.

The Person at the Center of It All

At the heart of the Bible isn’t just a religion.

It’s a person.

Jesus Christ!

His life, His teachings, and His death changed the course of human history more than any empire, government, or philosopher.

People debate Him.

People question Him.

People reject Him.

Yet two thousand years later, His name is still the most discussed name on earth.

Why?

Because the claims surrounding Him are not small claims.

He didn’t say He was merely a teacher.

He said He was the way, the truth, and the life.

That leaves humanity with a choice.

Either He was who He said He was…

or the most influential figure in history was completely wrong.

Why the Resistance?

For many people, the issue isn’t really evidence.

It’s surrender.

Believing in God means acknowledging that we are not the ultimate authority over everything. It means accepting that there may be standards higher than our opinions.

And that’s uncomfortable in a world that increasingly says:

“Create your own truth.”

But truth doesn’t bend to opinion.

Gravity doesn’t stop working because someone doesn’t believe in it.

And spiritual truth doesn’t disappear simply because it’s rejected.

A Question Worth Asking

So to those who say they don’t believe in God, Jesus, or the Bible, this isn’t a condemnation.

It’s simply a question.

When you look at the world today…

When you read the warnings written thousands of years ago in the Book of Revelation…

When you see how closely many of those themes echo the direction humanity is heading…

You have to ask yourself something honestly.

If not Him… then who?

Because ignoring the question doesn’t make it disappear.

And one day, every person will have to answer it.

Final Thought

Faith isn’t blind belief.

It’s the willingness to examine the evidence, listen carefully, and remain open to the possibility that the voice many people call “something,” “my mind,” or “intuition”…

might actually be God speaking.

The real question is not whether God speaks.

The real question is:

Are we still listening?
