Trump vs. Harris Debate: A Closer Look at Trump’s Strategy and the 2024 Elections

Smile, Smirk, Surprise, Dismay? vs Calm, Cool, Collected, Sharp?
Whatever your take is on these photos should give clear indication of what the future of America looks like!

Usually, I don't waste my time watching these debates and I make the statement of whatever happens happens. However, this time around I made it a point to sit and watch each and every moment of this debate without bathroom break!

I also had my qualms about actually posting this but what the heck this is what I see and it's my opinion.

The recent debate between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris marked a pivotal moment in the lead-up to the 2024 election. Expectations of heated exchanges gave way to a more restrained performance by Trump, one that left many wondering if his approach was more strategic than combative. As the spotlight turned to the core issues facing America, it became clear that Trump’s focus was on the long game, holding back for a reason.

Trump’s Restraint: A Calculated Strategy

Trump’s measured approach in the debate wasn’t a retreat, but rather a deliberate strategy. He has consistently been attacked throughout his political career, with the media and his opponents fixating on his personality rather than his policies. Despite this, Trump remains keenly aware that Democrats, while publicly denouncing him, have quietly adopted aspects of his policies—be it on immigration, deregulation, or trade. This silent acknowledgment of Trump’s successes only underscores his effectiveness as a leader.

By not revealing his full hand during the debate, Trump displayed political savvy. He understands the importance of timing. Revealing all his plans on national television would give the opposition more opportunities to criticize and counter. Instead, Trump is playing the long game, saving his key moves for when they matter most—during his presidency.

The Core Question: Why Haven’t Biden and Harris Fixed the Economy?

Trump posed a critical question during his closing statement: “Why haven’t Biden and Harris fixed the economy in the three and a half years they’ve been in office?” The answer, in Trump’s view, is simple—they don’t know how. Biden’s administration has been plagued with missteps and confusion, resulting in an economic downturn that many Americans are feeling acutely. Kamala Harris, despite being the vice president, hasn’t shown any sign of stepping up to resolve these issues.

But here’s the real danger: putting Harris in charge would be even worse than Biden. While Biden may have been out of touch with the consequences of his actions, Harris would be fully aware of what she’s doing—and still make the same mistakes. Her track record suggests that, under her leadership, the same damaging policies that have left Americans struggling would persist. Trump makes it clear: Harris has shown no ability to turn things around, and her continued influence in leadership would be disastrous for the country.

Defending Himself: Trump’s Consistent Battle

Trump’s time in office was marked by constant attacks on his character and leadership. Unlike Biden, whose missteps have often been swept under the rug, Trump faced relentless opposition from the media and political establishment. Despite these challenges, he fought to enact policies that boosted the economy, strengthened national security, and prioritized the American people.

It’s undeniable that Trump’s presidency was undermined by consistent personal attacks. These character assassinations distracted from his accomplishments, and had he been allowed to govern without this barrage of opposition, there’s little doubt he could have achieved even more. While Biden has been able to govern without the same level of scrutiny, Trump was forced to defend himself at every turn, which hindered the full realization of his policies.

The Double Standard: Biden and Harris Given a Free Pass?

Trump’s frustration with the current administration is justified. While Biden and Harris continue to make poor economic decisions, they are not held to the same standard Trump was. Biden’s presidency has been defined by inflation, rising costs of living, and an unstable economy, yet the media and Democrats have not attacked him with the same intensity they did Trump. By including Harris in the administration’s failures, Trump highlights that this isn’t just a "Biden problem"—it’s a Biden-Harris problem.

The American people are not thriving under Biden and Harris; they’re struggling to make ends meet. Many are starving as a direct result of the administration’s terrible economic policies. People don’t want empty promises or feel-good political rhetoric—they need food on the table, job security, and an economy that works for them. Biden and Harris have proven incapable of delivering that, and under Harris’s leadership, it would only get worse.

Trump: The Clear Choice for 2024

As Trump prepares for 2024, he stands out as the clear choice for president. His policies and leadership experience offer a stark contrast to the failures of the Biden-Harris administration. Trump understands the core issues facing America, and unlike his opponents, he knows how to fix them. His refusal to divulge his full plans during the debate was a sign of his strategic thinking. He knows the importance of timing and is saving the details of his solutions for when he’s back in office.

Trump is urging voters to cast their ballots based on objective facts, not media-driven scandals or the character smears that the Democrats excel at. Voters need to look at the results: under Trump, the economy was stronger, national security was tighter, and America’s global standing was more robust. Under Biden and Harris, the opposite has happened.

If the personal attacks on Trump’s character are set aside, there’s no denying his potential to make America great again. He’s a leader who gets things done, and with another chance at the presidency, Trump could restore the prosperity the country enjoyed before the Biden-Harris administration took office. As the 2024 election approaches, the choice is clear: a vote for Trump is a vote for a stronger, more prosperous America.
