The Power I Give — And The Reckoning It Brings

Here’s a truth I’ve learned over the years: people have the power. Not because they took it. Not because they demanded it. But because I gave it to them. When I put my trust, my opportunities, and my resources into someone’s hands, it’s intentional. I do it with a clear purpose — to give them the chance to prove themselves worthy of what the future is about to bring. Because the future doesn’t wait for anyone; it magnifies the decisions we make today. But here’s where it gets interesting: some people mistake my empowerment for weakness. They think that because they’ve been allowed to hold the reins for a while, they’ve already won. They confuse my patience for complacency, my grace for naivety.
